My name is James Tucker, I’ve been a Scout leader (just called a Scouter these days) for over 30 years now, all of which I’ve had to have a valid Standard and/ or Wilderness First Aid certificate.
In Jan/Feb 2015 I took my Standard First Aid and my Advanced Wilderness & Remote First Aid Instructor course and have been busy ever since teaching first aid to folks all over southern Alberta.
On October 8, 2016 I became a Training Partner with the Canadian Red Cross. My new business was begun!
October 2021 I became an Instructor Trainer.
March 2025 OutThere First Aid became a Canadian Red Cross Instructor Development Centre!
I continue to enjoy this path more every day.
If you are a registered Scout or Scouter with Scouts Canada, or member of Girl Guides of Canada, please contact me about special pricing for these groups as I like to encourage youthful adventures in the wilds!
