CANCELLATION POLICY

Course Cancellations

If OutThere First Aid cancels a course, as opposed to rescheduling to accommodate government restrictions, the participant will receive a full refund or may reschedule for a later date. This applies to the initially booked course only.

OutThere First Aid will notify participants by email of any changes.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued. In the event of a  government mandated closure, all our students will be contacted via email and will be offered a course date transfer.

Due to small class sizes, extra preparation, sanitising, and equipment needed to run courses safely OutThere First Aid will issue transfers only, to any upcoming comparable course with space availability.

Course Transfer requests made three (3) or more business days prior to course date are subject to availability only and may incur a $25.00 administration fee.

Course Transfer requests made less than three (3) business days prior to course date are subject to availability only and may incur a $100.00 administration fee.

All transfer requests will be reviewed on an individual basis and may or may not result in a transfer option.

Transfer requests may be made by email and will be responded to during business hours on weekdays.

Transfers

Transfer eligibility is valid for 1 (one) year from the original course booked date.

If the client has not successfully rescheduled their course within that one-year window all moneys paid to that point will be forfeited and the transfer is no longer valid.

Late or No Arrival

No shows will automatically forfeit all fees, and no transfers will be issued at that point.

If arriving late the participant may not be allowed entry into class past a reasonable time (30min+/-) and may forfeit the full course fee.

If the participant does not show up to the course, and has not made arrangements prior to the course date to reschedule, he/she forfeits all fees.

Extenuating circumstances may be exempt and is at the instructors discretion.

Risk to Client

The client understands that there will be a physical component to their course.

If the participant cannot perform the CPR component he/she may take part in the course, however will not be certified by the Red Cross.

All components of the First Aid/ CPR Course must be taken and completed to the acceptable level to receive certification, certification is not guaranteed.

Any invoiced amounts not paid on due date of invoice will be charged interest at the rate of 2% per month.
